On May 27, 1968 she married the love of her life, LeRoy Hamilton in Reno, Nevada. They moved to Portland, Oregon and later settled in Lewis County, Washington. Several years after her husband's death she moved to Yelm, Washington residing with her daughter Cindy until her passing.

Jackie spent her years as a dedicated wife and homemaker. She was a faithful saint of God and attended the Yelm Jesus Name Pentecostal Church. She loved her children, grandchildren and all her family with a fervent passion. Jackie was happiest just being with them or doing things for them. She called each of their names one by one each time she prayed. She was a bright and shining light in her families' lives. She loved god more than life itself and instilled his same love with her children and grandchildren by being a living example of her beliefs. Due to her lifelong dedication to God, many of her family members are saved today. She left behind a wonderful legacy, and is missed immensely.
